Megyn Kelly hits out at MSNBC
Kelly once seemed poised to become one of the highest-paid TV stars, yet now appears likely to leave NBC News. Although her show debuted to great fanfare, ratings soon declined after she asked why it would be offensive for white people to dress up in blackface costumes.
She was particularly critical of the New Black Panthers, alleging they engaged in voter intimidation. Additionally, she lambasted other media for not covering this story as thoroughly.
Kelly has talent, yet seems disassociated from the milieu that Fox and Roger Ailes fostered for her. It appears she used her Fox cred to gain ratings advantage with Jones rather than report the truth about what really happened at Sandy Hook. NBC must have known who Kelly was playing; yet they made a serious error by permitting her to normalize such dangerous conspiracy theorists as Alex Jones.
